AUCTION FORMAT: LIVE ONLINE
This is a live online auction with an auctioneer.  Bidding is available online, by telephone or commission (absentee) bids.  If not bidding online, please contact Dreweatts to register all commission bids or telephone bids by 12 noon (local time) the day before the auction ie on Tuesday 8 December. REGISTRATION:
We advise clients to register at least 48 hours in advance of the auction as you may be asked to provide documents to verify your identity.  Registration for new clients will close at 12 noon (local time) on Tuesday 8 December.

VIEWING AT DONNINGTON PRIORY:
Viewing is available by appointment only and in strict accordance with government Covid-19 regulations on the dates below.   Appointments will run on an hourly basis ie 1 hour per client, so please arrive on time to ensure your appointment is not cut short.  Please do not turn up without having pre-booked an appointment.   

Friday 4 December: 10am - 5pm
Sunday 6 December: 10am - 4pm
Monday 7 December: 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 8 December: 10am - 5pm

Please note there is no viewing on the morning of the sale.  If you are wanting to view on Sunday, please ensure you have booked your appointment by 12 noon on Friday, and that you have received an email confirmation of your appointment from us.

REMOTE VIEWING SERVICE:

DREWEATTS 360 VIRTUAL AUCTION TOUR:
The service provides a virtual tour of the galleries at our picturesque Donnington Priory salerooms, allowing you to walk through each room, browsing and interacting with the lots as you go, just as if you were there in person. All from the comfort of your own home, at your own pace and at a time that suits you! The Dreweatts 360 Virtual Tour of this sale will be available from Friday 4 December 2020.

PAYMENTS: 
Once the auction has concluded, you will receive an invoice by email with a link to our online payment page as well as collection and shipping information.  Where auctions finish late in the afternoon or evening, invoices will be sent out the next working day.   Please note, we cannot accept payment by telephone for Lots bought by first time bidders.   For details on other payment methods, please see our website here  

COLLECTIONS & SHIPPING:
Collections are available from Dreweatts Donnington Priory from Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) by appointment only and in strict accordance with government Covid-19 regulations.  You can collect in person or instruct your own shipper or choose from a number of suggested shipping companies.  Please note, we do not offer a shipping service ourselves.

LOT DESCRIPTION SYMBOLS GLOSSARY:

λ - Indicates that this lot may be subject to Droit de Suite royalty charges.

Y - Indicates that this lot may be subject to CITES regulations when exported.

† - Indicates that VAT is payable by the purchaser at the standard rate of 20% on the hammer price as well as being charged on the buyers’ premium.

Ɵ - Indicates that the lot is a zero rated item and therefore subject to buyer’s premium of 25% exclusive of VAT (0% VAT). 

‡ - Indicates that the lot is being sold whilst subject to temporary importation and that VAT is due at the reduced rate (5%). 

Ω - Indicates that the lot has been imported from outside the EU and is liable to the standard rate of Import VAT currently 20% on the hammer price.

β - Indicates that the lot is offered in Bond. This applies to wine. Bidding will be at duty paid prices other than for those lots marked ‘IN BOND/β’.
