Please register at least 48 hours in advance of the auction as you may be asked to provide documents to verify your identity. If not intending to bid online, please submit commission and telephone bids by 12 noon (local time) on Monday 18 January. 

BUYER’S PREMIUM:
In addition to the hammer price, buyer’s premium of 25% (+ VAT) is payable. Other taxes and/or Artist Resale Royalty fees are also payable if the lot has a relevant symbol.

Due to the volume of enquiries, the shippers are unable to provide indicative quotes for collecting and transport ahead of the auction.  When you have a list of purchases, please contact the relevant shipper. 

COLLECTIONS:
Purchases will be available for collection from Aynhoe Park, Aynho, Banbury, OX17 3BQ from Friday 22 to Saturday 30 January only.   Please note that lots will not be released until they are paid for in full (ie cleared funds) and that shippers will need to be authorised in writing to collect on behalf of the purchaser.

STORAGE:
All items not collected from Aynhoe Park, by 4pm on Saturday 30 January will be removed to storage with one of our nominated shippers.  If you are not able to collect by Saturday 30 January, please contact housesales@dreweatts.com for details of which store items will be removed to.

Uncollected lots will be subject to a minimum storage charge of £30 (plus VAT) per lot and to a further storage charge of £3 (plus VAT) per lot per part or full day hereafter. These charges will be the sole liability of the purchaser and will be billed directly by the shipper.  The shipper may be willing to adjust these charges if they are instructed by the purchaser to arrange shipping.

On payment of all sales and storage costs, items will be available for collection by appointment from the shipper.  Please contact the shipper if you would like to discuss long term storage. 

We recommend that you contact the shipper directly regarding any queries relating to these charges and other questions relating to storage. Dreweatts staff will be unable to answer questions relating to items that have been removed from Aynhoe Park.

LOT DESCRIPTION SYMBOLS GLOSSARY:

λ - Indicates that this lot may be subject to Droit de Suite royalty charges.

Y - Indicates that this lot may be subject to CITES regulations when exported.

† - Indicates that VAT is payable by the purchaser at the standard rate of 20% on the hammer price as well as being charged on the buyers’ premium.

Ɵ - Indicates that the lot is a zero rated item and therefore subject to buyer’s premium of 25% exclusive of VAT (0% VAT). 

‡ - Indicates that the lot is being sold whilst subject to temporary importation and that VAT is due at the reduced rate (5%). 

Ω - Indicates that the lot has been imported from outside the EU and is liable to the standard rate of Import VAT currently 20% on the hammer price.

β - Indicates that the lot is offered in Bond. This applies to wine. Bidding will be at duty paid prices other than for those lots marked ‘IN BOND/β’.
