The interiors are oak and these appear to be adaptions - these have a deep compartment to the centre that pulls forward, they also have a pair of doors above - almost like they have been converted to night commodes at some point

Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use
Old splits and cracks, chips and losses, some openings to joints, some veneers removed and replaced
Gilt metal mounts and elements discoloured, also the front sabots are loose (but present in the drawer) there is a key that does not operate the locks, and a key that is the handle half only. One escutcheon has signs of filler and blutack to hold in place - this will need further proper attention prior to use
The marble has been split and broken and repaired several times, it is old and probably the original, it also has edge knocks and losses, some filler also
Overall this will require some attention and restoration before use in a domestic setting

Overall solid and stable,
The marble tops appear to have a mixture of old breaks and repairs as well some filler to secure and fill natural faults, the top of one table appears to be more damage than natural faults than the other - this work appears to be professional restoration
Handles appear to be original, there are no locks by design
