Y A GROUP OF THREE SHELLWORK SAILOR'S VALENTINES 19TH CENTURY The largest in a glazed mahogany octagonal case, hinged lid with ivory escutcheon, key, above parterre design of shells with central encircling floral wreath, case 40.5cm wide, 6.8cm high Smaller pair each with glazed octagonal frame, one with heart design, 24.5cm wide, 3.2cm high Please note, Dreweatts have applied for a de minimis exemption licence for the ivory in this lot (Ref: ZGDYR4QJ) Condition Report: Wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. All with some loose shell fragments and small elements, one of smaller pair with cracked glass, frame/case to largest cleaned Please see additional images for visual references to condition which form part of this condition report. All lots are available for inspection and Condition Reports are available on request.
