Condition Report:
With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning.
Exterior with scuffs and some dents to edges- rubbing and wear to leather and loss to gilding of metalwork. Some later screws to feet.
Interior mostly well fitted but with some vacant apertures- several bone implements- no ivory.

Condition Report:
With wear, marks, and wear to pile throughout. Both ends trimmed. Various ages of repairs throughout- with stitch repairs to tears, some inset patches, some open holes, and areas of very worn pile from footfall and use. Reverse showing numerous patches from most recent conservation/repair work indicating the high extent of repairs throughout. At one end (where majority of repairs are) there is evidence of a pattern and pile jump in the main border to both sides indicating that the carpet was shortened in length. This end also cracks when folded indicating areas of rot.
