Y A DUTCH MARQUETRY INLAID MAHOGANY DECANTER CASE CIRCA 1840 The hinged lid enclosing 4 parcel gilt glass bottles case 26cm high, 19cm wide, 19cm deep Together with a Victorian walnut and brass mounted casket, fitted for stationery, by Melliship & Harris, 22cm wide And a George IV rosewood work box, circa 1830, with velvet lined and fitted interior, 34cm wide Please note that Dreweatts have applied for a de minimus license; ref: 3BN7D2XH Condition Report: Dutch marquetry Box. No cracks or chips noted to the decanters and stoppers. Light wear to the gilding, stoppers very worn. Traces of previous liquids to the interiors which may or may not have damaged the glass. Lock is possibly not the original. Some marks, knocks, scratches etc. to the wood and chips to the corners, old damage around the lock and hinges. No lock key. Probably had feet, now lacking. Rosewood work box. Some signs of use, but no serious damage or repairs noted except the left handle which comes off. Interior worn. No key. Casket. Has key, lock works, interior worn.
