The bracelet has some surface scuffs and scratches, but no major damage. The hinged section is in good working order, the signature has some rubbing, but sill readable. The sapphires are well matched, they have typical inclusions including some surface reaching fractures. Some rubbing to the top of the ruby and typical inclusions including surface reaching fractures. The stones are all bright.

The sapphire has some abrasion to the crown facet edges, some light scratches to the crown facets including table, some silk, healed fracture and further inclusions, the stone has possibly got blue foiling behind. The setting has rubbing to the detail around the collet setting, the shank has some slight thinning. The stone has a violet tone under incandescent light. Date of manufacture indiscernible.

Peter Orr and his brother Alexander, originally from Scotland, arrived in Madras, India, in 1843. Shortly after their arrival, they began working as watchmakers for the silversmith firm Gordon & Co. When Gordon retired in 1849, the Orr brothers took over the business, transforming it into the largest and most prestigious silversmith company in India.
In 1876, Peter and Alexander were appointed Jewellers and Silversmiths to the Prince of Wales. The company became renowned for producing silverware and jewellery in the Swami style, which was inspired by Hindu gods and sacred scenes. The term Swami means deity in Tamil, and this distinctive style, typical of Madras and Southern India, gained significant popularity both in India and Europe, where royalties and aristocracy coveted the brand's creations. By 1903, the company's workshop employed over 600 artisans, according to official records. However, the firm faced significant challenges during the Second World War, forcing it to cease the production of silverware and jewellery and return to watchmaking.
Today, many of the company's finest pieces are displayed in prestigious international museums, such as the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Condition Report:
The weight is without box.
The bracelet rattles, it sounds a little like sand inside the panels, possibly disintegrated resin. There is small split to the bottom of one of the panels by the clasp, some general wear commensurate with age and use. The clasp is working well, slightly tricky to close, but in good order. The safety chain is later and where the chain has been soldered on obscures some of the letters from the first and last names of the deities. General wear commensurate with use, no gold marks or makers marks visible. The gold is not tested for carat, it is in our opinion it is likely to be 18 carat or more, however it has not been tested for gold carat due to the destructive nature of the test. 3.6cm wide.
The box is in good condition considering age, but does have rubbing and scratches to the leather outer, and slight warping to the box, but it still closes fastened.

Condition Report:
The gold is not tested for carat, it is in our opinion it is likely to be 18 carat or more, however it has not been tested for gold carat due to the destructive nature of the test. There are some scuffs and scratches to the panels, some very small holes visible one to a leopards head with some resin visible, appears to be from construction, a couple of small holes at the backs of the settings, probably from construction, however two of the panels do appear to have had some repairs to one side, scratches and solder under gilding, possible repair by clasps tongue. The hooped links aren't soldered together and some are slightly open. There is some rubbing to the high relief of the figures and there are a couple of possible small dents to a hand and arm.

The bangle decoration is in good order considering age and use, but there is a previous repair to the eyes, solder at bases. The inside top of the panel has slight folding, may be old patched repair, some further slight warping. The back of the bangle has been adapted and the hinged sections later created, the clasp panel may be slightly later to the whole piece, but in good working order. The gold is not tested for carat, it is in our opinion it is likely to be 18 carat or more, however it has not been tested for gold carat due to the destructive nature of the test.

Minimal wear. The emerald approximately 1.00ct, the diamonds approximately 0.60 carats total. The emerald has typical natural inclusions, some darker inclusions which are eye visible. Of a bright slightly bluish green hue with some windowing through the table, stronger saturation around the edges. Diamonds are lively stones of typical commercial quality. Brilliant cuts of a slightly brownish hue. Shank stamped 750, however no official hallmark. In very good condition.

The fob is in our opinion gold, the chain is platinum and gold in our opinion, however they are unmarked and untested due to the destructive nature of the test. There are loses to the enamel to both the fob and the chain as consistent with age and use, the enamel to the fob is very delicate. The orb is missing its glazing over the dial. The dial swivels to wind the watch, however it only ticks for a coupe of seconds

Condition Report:
Sapphire measuring approximately 10.4 x 8.4 x 6.6mm.
The sapphire is bright, some small nibbles to the crown facet edges, a few scuffs and scratches to the top of the stone, nicks and nibbles to the culet. The setting has some wear commensurate with age and use, particularly to the millegrained diamond set corner stones, but the stones are still secure. The back of the shank has been sized and has some thinning, and there may have been some alteration to the shoulders, but again is useable.

The settings are in our opinion platinum and gold, the gold carat has not been tested due to the destructive nature of the test and the size of the pieces.

The brooch hinge and pin are replaced, later bale, but in good working order. the brooch clasp in hinged, and there is a loop to the reverse which is possibly not original
