Limited, London and Derby' the urns 63.5cm high, tops 40cm diameter, bases 27.5cm square Set on variegated green marble plinths, 25.5cm high, bases 36cm square overall height 89cm Provenance: Private Collection, Swiftsden House, East Sussex Saleroom Notice: Please note, the measurements for this lot have been updated and differ from the printed catalogue Condition Report: Saleroom Notice: Please note, the description has been updated and differ from the printed catalogue. urns 63.5cm high, tops 40cm diameter, bases 27.5cm square Set on variegated green marble plinths, 25.5cm high, bases 36cm square overall height 89cm With historic wear. Look to have had paint removed, cleaned and urn tops reattached to stems within last 30 years. One junction point has failed between a top and stem which will require remedial work before future use. With beginnings of surface rust and signs of older rust. Water stains to stem junction points. Interiors with old attrition wear. Same urn has also had historic break to section of separate top rim mount. Neither is attached to metal plinth bases, Marble with scuffs and edge nibbles. A LEATHER UPHOLSTERED CLUB FENDER LATE 20TH CENTURY The underside stamped 9033, copper alloy metal frame with remnants of gilt brass finish 46cm high seat external 176cm wide, 56cm deep the base externally 175cm wide, 52.7cm deep seat internal 139.5cm wide, 37cm deep internally at the base 157.5cm wide, 42.7cm deep The internal width at base is from side to side- over the thin slip plate. The plate itself is screwed on and should be able to be removed. The whole looks formerly to have had a gilt brass finish which has been cleaned back at corner posts and most of the plinth base. The base is now a reddish colour with only fragments of original gilt brass visible to lowest edges and reverse. The whole sturdy.
