The impaled armorial is for Colonel Frederick CLINTON (1804-1870) of the Grenadier Guards and Mary Margaret MONTAGU (1807-1885). They were married in 1840 at St George Hanover Square in London.
Frederick CLINTON was the second son (indicated by the crescent for difference) of Lt. General Sir William Henry CLINTON (1769-1846) by his wife Hon. Louisa Dorothea HOLROYD (1776-1854). The CLINTON family are at their grant of arms are recorded as of Welwyn, Hertfordshire.

This is the crest of Joseph Arderne ORMEROD (1848-1925) English physician, neurologist and psychiatrist who was then of London. He was the son of Thomas Johnson ORMEROD (1810-1874) Oxford academic and later archdeacon of Suffolk by his wife Maria Susan BAILEY (1813-1871) daughter of Sir Joseph BAILEY (1783-1858) 1st Baronet. The ORMEROD family originated from Tydesley, Warrington. In 1878 he married Mary Ellen MILNER (1853-1925) daughter of Edward MILNER (1819-1884) landscape architect of Dulwich by his wife Elizabeth Mary KELLY (1820-1885). The MILNER family originated from Darley, Derbyshire.
